This award has been given by the City Council since 2003 and recognizes current or former citizens who have made a unique or noteworthy contribution to making the City a better place to live. Lee Jean Heller served on the West Carrollton Fire Department as an Emergency Medical Technician from 1978 through 2001. New Dog Park in West Carrollton

Parks and Recreation Director Christian Mattingly announced at the March 12th council meeting plans to construct a new dog park for our furry residents. Hintermeister Park was chosen as the location for this project. Many factors are attributed to the reasoning behind this decision, such as; open space, parking availability, shade, restrooms, and water system. The project will cost around $48,000, covering fencing, a drinking fountain, a cement pad, benches, plantings, signs, gravel, and other expenses.
