West Carrollton was featured on Good Day Dayton, as host Lydia Bice visited the City’s July 2nd First Thursdays Street Fair to showcase one of the community’s signature summer events.
Broadcast live from Carrollton Centre, Bice interviewed Parks and Recreation Director Christian Mattingly, who shared what makes the First Thursdays Street Fair a summer tradition for residents and visitors alike. The segment highlighted the event’s live music, local food vendors, artisan merchants, nonprofit organizations, and free family-friendly activities that bring the community together throughout the summer.
The July Street Fair welcomed attendees for an evening of shopping, dining, entertainment, and community connection. Visitors enjoyed live music by Heath Bowling, explored offerings from local businesses and makers, met with community organizations, and participated in activities hosted by the Dayton Metro Library – West Carrollton Branch.
