Police Officer – Two certified lists will be established Lateral Entry: (OPOTA Certification Required) Entry Level: Candidates not OPOTA certified, or who are currently attending the police academy Duties and Work Requirements Work normally consists of preventive patrol, criminal investigations, and traffic control, but may also include other related assignments as required.
