Park Shelter Reservations

Reserve the Park

Availability:
City park shelters are available to reserve for use from May 24 through September 7, 2025.

Reservation Dates:

• March 1: Reservations open for West Carrollton residents only.
• April 1: Reservations open to non-residents.

Reservation Process:

• Reserve a shelter in person at the Civic Center (open Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
• Request reservation online.
• Call the Parks & Recreation Department at (937) 859-5182.

Fees and Cancellations:

• Non-residents will be charged a $50 rental fee.
• Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the reservation date for a full refund.
• Confirmation emails may be delayed; requests are processed in the order received.

Amenities by Park:
All shelters include picnic tables, and leash laws apply to all dogs in the parks. Shelter amenities vary by location:

• Wilson Park: Pavilion, three shelters with electricity, two playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball net, and restrooms.
• Weidner Park: One shelter with electricity, playground, basketball and tennis courts, and restrooms.
• Hintermeister Park: One shelter (no electricity), playground, basketball court, and restrooms.
• Leiwig Park: One shelter (no electricity), playground, and basketball court.
