Knox Box

Knox Box Information

All new West Carrollton businesses, as well as those undergoing major renovations, need to install a rapid entry system that is required in the Ohio Building Code. Knox Box secure boxes allow quick access by safety personnel to businesses during an emergency and also can help prevent costly door or window repairs after an emergency call. Business owners can find the link  here

After receiving the online order request, the West Carrollton fire department will approve the application, which permits the purchase and installation. The boxes are installed outside of an entrance and allow storage of keys, access cards and other small items necessary for emergency access. Costs start at $506.

Knox Box access is also available for homeowners as well. For more information about residential key vaults, see KnoxHomeBox.com.
