Responsibilities

The Fire Inspector is responsible for helping keep West Carrollton’s homes, businesses, and public spaces safe through fire prevention and code compliance efforts. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting fire inspections
• Reviewing building and site plans for fire code compliance
• Assisting Code Enforcement with building inspections
• Investigating fire code concerns and violations
• Providing fire safety guidance to businesses and property owners
• Supporting community risk reduction efforts
