The City of West Carrollton has received plan approval from the Ohio EPA for our Water Treatment Plant improvement project. This marks an important step forward in ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality drinking water for our community.
Many of the plant’s systems are more than 30 years old and require critical updates. These improvements will:
• Replace and modernize outdated treatment equipment
• Improve water quality and reliability
• Enhance safety and efficiency at the facility
With an investment of $8.8 million, supported through the Ohio EPA’s Water Supply Revolving Loan program, this project represents our commitment to protecting public health and planning for the future. Construction is expected to commence in 2025 and is anticipated to be completed within approximately three years.
Clean, dependable water is something every resident relies on daily, and this project ensures we can continue delivering just that for years to come.
