The February 25th City Council meeting marked a bittersweet milestone, as it was the final meeting for Police Chief Douglas M. Woodard before his retirement. Council members unanimously passed Resolution 13-2025, formally expressing the appreciation of the citizens and public officials of West Carrollton for Chief Woodard’s 37 years of dedicated service. The evening also gave Chief Woodard the chance to personally thank the City Council and the community for their unwavering support throughout his career.
