City Charter

City Charter

The Charter was originally adopted by the voters on May 2, 1967. Every five (5) years, commencing in 1985, the Council appoints a Charter Review Commission.  The commission is made up of West Carrollton residents who review and propose amendments to the Charter.  Recommended amendments are then placed upon the ballot for approval by a majority of the electors of the city.

The City Charter was last amended in 2020 – City Charter – Last Amended 2020
