Montgomery County administers the property tax. It can be paid online at www.mctreas.org or www.mcrealestate.org , by mail, in person, or 24 hour night drop at 451 W. Third St, Dayton, Oh 45422. Types of payments include cash, check, money order, or Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover debit/credit cards. The County office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
City income taxes can be paid online, by mail, in person, or via the 24 hour night drop at City of West Carrollton Tax Department, 300 E. Central Ave, West Carrollton, OH 45449. Types of payments include cash, check, money order, or Visa/Mastercard debit/credit cards. The tax department is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In addition to paying income taxes directly through the City of West Carrollton finance department and/or property taxes through Montgomery County, businesses have the option to use the Ohio Business Gateway at http://business.ohio.gov
The sales tax is collected on taxable retail sales. The rate is 7.25% of which 5.75% goes to the State of Ohio and the remaining 1.5% goes to Montgomery County.
