Trick or Treat will be held on October 31, 6-8 p.m. Each year in West Carrollton. The date is set by the Dayton Area Mayors and Managers Association. Please dress your children accordingly as this event will not be cancelled or date changed due to the weather. Residents who choose to participate should leave front porch lights on. Please use caution when driving in the area.

Sweet Enchanted Evening is this year's theme! Bring your dad, stepdad, uncle, or grandpa to the dance. A special treat, photos, flowers, and light snacks will be provided. 1 event,To assist with leaf collection, the City Beautiful Commission (CBC) will host a Rake Rally on Saturday, Nov. 11th, from 10am- 12pm (noon). Any WC resident needing help raking leaves that day must register beforehand. Call (937) 859-5182 and provide name, address, and phone number by Nov. 3rd 2023. The CBC also needs volunteers for the Rake Rally. Long sleeve shirts will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. Volunteers are asked to bring their own rakes, if possible. Spend the evening with family and friends decorating a pre-assembled gingerbread house. Bring your ideas, decorations and icing to create your masterpiece. The City Beautiful Commission hosts this annual tradition which includes horse-drawn wagon rides, performances by WCHS choir and orchestra groups, a candy cane hunt, letter writing to Santa, ornament making and a tree-lighting ceremony.
