Bring the family and enjoy a Halloween celebration packed with activities for all ages. Guests can explore Touch-a-Truck, decorate pumpkins, create seasonal crafts, enjoy games and candy, take part in a costume contest, and capture memories at themed photo opportunities.
JFS On the Move!
JFS On the Move (OTM) is Montgomery County Job and Family Services’ mobile outreach unit. This multi-disciplinary team can quickly provide offsite services, including full case management for most benefits for Montgomery County residents. We aim to remove barriers to access. If you are a Montgomery County resident and need JFS’ help, you don’t need to come to us. Let us come to you!

2026 Paving Program Underway
The City of West Carrollton’s 2026 Paving Program began Wednesday, August 26th, with Barrett Paving starting work in the plat near Applehill Drive. Crews will complete the project in phases, beginning with asphalt milling, followed by chip sealing and then paving. No Parking Notices No Parking signs for the initial milling work were placed in the area over the weekend. As work progresses, signs will be posted again in advance of the chip seal phase and the paving phase. West Carrollton welcomed Jersey Mike’s Subs on Wednesday, August 12th and celebrated the grand opening of its new location at 654 E. Dixie Drive. Mayor Rick Barnhart, members of City Council, and City staff joined franchise owner Ted Tolliver and the Jersey Mike’s team for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially welcome the restaurant to the community. West Carrollton Schools celebrated the opening of the new West Carrollton Middle/High School with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, August 10th.
