The City of West Carrollton, OH (pop. 13,143) is accepting applications for the position of Plant Operator (PO). The PO is responsible for a wide range of general operational and maintenance activities associated with the water and sewer treatment plants.

Pay range is $21.77 – $34.67 per hour DOQ. Excellent benefits.
Required Qualifications at Time of Application: Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have a high school diploma or GED.
Obtained Qualifications Within Six (6) Months of Employment: Applicants must obtain a State of Ohio EPA Chemical Certification for pH and Chlorine within six months of employment.
Obtained Certificates: Applicants progress to the PO I, PO II, and PO III positions based on satisfactory performance reviews and obtaining Ohio EPA Water Supply Operator and OEPA Wastewater Works Operator certificates. It is desired that the successful applicant obtains both a Water Supply Class I and a Wastewater Works Class I certificate within three (3) years of employment.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
