The City of West Carrollton, OH (pop. 13,143) is accepting applications for a Maintenance Worker Laborer (MWL) position within the Service Department. The Service Department is combining field operations of the water, sewer, street, and refuse divisions under one Public Works Superintendent. The MWL is responsible for a wide range of general operational and maintenance activities associated with the street maintenance, refuse collection, water distribution system, and sewer collection system areas of public service. Pay range is $20.73 – $30.63 per hour DOQ. Excellent benefits.
Required Qualifications at the Time of Application: Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of application.
Obtained Qualifications Within Twelve (12) Months of Employment: Applicants must obtain a State of Ohio Class B Commercial Driver’s License with Air Brake and Tanker endorsement within twelve months of employment.
The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
