The City of West Carrollton is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Repair Person I to support the Parks and Recreation Department in maintaining City buildings, parks, right‑of‑ways, and recreation facilities. This position performs a wide range of skilled, semi‑skilled, and physical labor tasks that ensure safe, attractive, and well‑functioning public spaces for the community. Responsibilities include facility maintenance, equipment operation, seasonal preparation, and support for City events.

Salary and Benefits
Pay range is $23.55 – $31.55 per hour DOQ. Excellent benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid State of Ohio driver’s license.
- Ability to work outside of normal working hours to meet departmental needs.
- The successful candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Desired Training and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by experience in general building maintenance operations.
- General knowledge of the operation, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment used in building, grounds and facility maintenance.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, city officials, and the general public.
