The annual curbside fall leaf collection program begins Monday Oct. 16 and continues through Dec. 8th. No need to call the city if you didn’t get your leaves out in time, or a vehicle was in the way, because crews make continuous loops throughout the city each week. As a reminder, leaf piles should be free of large sticks and debris to prevent damage to the leaf vacuum truck.
Children can write a letter to Santa and “mail” it at Santa’s mailbox – located in the lobby of the Civic Center. Santa will respond to all the letters that include a self-addressed envelope. Date: Nov 28th – Dec 9 Location: Civic Center Lobby, 300 E. Central Ave Cost: Free
Spend the evening with family and friends decorating a pre-assembled gingerbread house. Bring your ideas, decorations and icing to create your masterpiece. Houses will be displayed, voted on and winner announced during the Holiday Festival. Houses will be available for pick-up Mon, Dec 4th from 8am-4pm.
