The annual curbside fall leaf collection program begins Monday Oct. 16 and continues through Dec. 8th. No need to call the city if you didn’t get your leaves out in time, or a vehicle was in the way, because crews make continuous loops throughout the city each week. As a reminder, leaf piles should be free of large sticks and debris to prevent damage to the leaf vacuum truck.
To assist with leaf collection, the City Beautiful Commission (CBC) will host a Rake Rally on Saturday, Nov. 11th, from 10am- 12pm (noon). Any WC resident needing help raking leaves that day must register beforehand. Call (937) 859-5182 and provide name, address, and phone number by Nov. 3rd 2023. The CBC also needs volunteers for the Rake Rally. Long sleeve shirts will be available on a first-come first-serve basis. Volunteers are asked to bring their own rakes, if possible.
