Bicycle Fun Day & Ice Cream Social

The City of West Carrollton will host its Annual Bicycle Fun Day & Ice Cream Social on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 pm. All are Welcome. The event will be held at the Miami & Erie Canal Park on 5457 Marina Drive in West Carrollton.

We are grateful to Domtar in West Carrollton this year for their generous donation to purchase high-quality Kali Protectives Helmets, sizing infants to 12 years old.

Chakra Child Lighted – Kali Protectives

Kids will learn how to safely handle their bicycle on the Activity Course and learn the rules of the road. Then head to our Skills Course which is New this year. You will have fun and can be a little competitive. 😊

If you cannot bring your bicycle to the event, children may still participate by walking to each station. There is much to do!

Events:

• Whitman’s Bike Shop will provide free bicycle safety checks for any attendee.
• Local resident, Charlie Gau, will host a bike repair station.
• Stop at the helmet tent and get your free helmet (age infant-12) we’ll properly size it.
• Chalk around and sketch your own chalk art creations.
• Valor Martial Arts will have a live Demo.
• TOUCH-A-TRUCK the city’s fire and police departments’ vehicles will be there.
• A city bicycle officer will Administer a Safety Pledge with all the children.
• Make your own bicycle handle bar streamers at the West Carrollton Library Tent.
• JIMBO the clown will be a crowd please with his bike, balloons and tricks.
• Shelly’s Ice Cream Treats- bring some ice cream money.
