2025 Dog License Renewal

It’s that time of year again! The City of West Carrollton and Montgomery County Animal Resource Center have teamed up to make getting your dog licensed easier than ever.

Why License Your Dog?
Licensing isn’t just a requirement—it’s a quick way to ensure you’re notified if your lost pet is found. All dogs 3 months or older must be licensed.

3 Easy Ways to License Your Dog:

1. Online: Apply or renew at MCOHIO
2. Mail: Print an application and mail it with a check
3. In-Person: Purchase tags at the West Carrollton Civic Center on:

• Sunday, January 5, from 1-3 PM
• Wednesday, January 15, from 5-7 PM
• Wednesday, January 22, from 4-6 PM

License Fees:

• $20 for all spayed/neutered dogs and dogs 9 months or younger
• $24 for all unspayed/unneutered dogs

Exceptions for Unaltered Dogs:

The $20 rate applies to dogs that qualify with veterinary certification due to age or medical condition, registered breeding/show dogs (AKC), and hunting dogs with a current hunting license.
