The Civic Center offices located at 300 E. Central Ave. will be closed Dec. 24-25 and January 1.
After the holidays, the service department will collect cut Christmas trees through the week of Jan. 7-11, which also coincides with the first quarterly large-item/bulk trash collection of the year. Trees should be free from tinsel, ornaments, lights or tree bags.
In addition to the trees, the city will collect household items such as appliances, carpet, brush, metal, and lumber. Carpet and brush should be cut in 3-4 ft. lengths and bundled. The city will not pick up contractor generated materials or remodeling materials.
Additional free large item/bulk trash pick-ups will occur during the weeks of: May 6-10, July 8-12, and Oct. 7-11.
