SWERK is a group fitness class led by Tiffany Osburn, a contracted instructor of the West Carrollton Parks and Recreation Department (and a W.C. Police Officer on the side.)
SWERK is a dance fitness class with upbeat routines paired with pop and hip hop songs. Each class includes exercises to build the cardiorespiratory system (heart and lungs), the musculoskeletal system, (which involves muscular endurance, strength and overall flexibility) while improving body composition (increasing muscle and bone and decreasing body fat.)
Exercise includes aerobic activities, such as jumping, running, group aerobics, and other aerobic activities, body weight exercises and other movements to increase muscular strength and endurance, as well as flexibility exercises to improve joint range of motion.
Swerk will be offered in three sessions of three classes each. All classes will be held at the West Carrollton Senior Center, 10 E. Central Ave.

Session 1 - $20 : June 1, 8, 15 (6:15 - 7:15 p.m.)

Session 3 - $20 : August 3, 10, 17 (6:15 - 7:15 p.m.)
