The city of West Carrollton will hold a new event for children ages five to 12 on Friday, December 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Carrollton Senior Center, 10 E. Central Ave.
The event, Noon Year’s Eve, will include snacks and materials to make new year’s party poppers and hats to celebrate the new year. The event will have a balloon drop at noon.
“We wanted to do something fun for the kids who may not make it up until midnight so, we’re creating the ‘experience’ for them earlier in the day. I think the kids will get a kick out of seeing the balloon drop and sipping ‘kid-appropriate’ sparkling cider,” said Pegge Bellamy, events coordinator.
Registration is required and space is limited. The cost is $5 per child. Register here.
