The City of West Carrollton is accepting applications for the position of Seasonal Lifeguard. Under the direction of the Pool Manager, the Seasonal Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals at Wilson Park Pool. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including professionally interacting with the public, answering questions, and responding swiftly and effectively in the event of an emergency.
Interviews for the position will begin in late March, and the seasonal work will start from mid-May through Labor Day.

Salary
Pay range is $12.50 – $14.18 per hour.
Required Qualifications:
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certificate.
- American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED
Certification training will be offered at Wilson Park Pool for candidates who are not yet certified.
Desired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of lifesaving and life guarding methods and techniques
- Ability to swim and dive proficiently
- Completion of at least two years of High School
