The Fire Department is hosting a ‘Leap Year’ pancake breakfast Saturday, Feb. 29, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Fire Station 56, 125 W. Central Ave.
The firefighters will be doing the cooking and flap jack flipping all morning. There will be pancakes, sausage, fruit and beverages. The event is free to the public. Chief Chris Barnett said, “I’m excited about holding our first annual pancake breakfast for the citizens. We hope to fill the firehouse…and I may even do some of the cooking.”
Overflow parking will be available across the street in the Miami Valley Sand parking lot.
