SUMMARY:Large Item/Bulk Trash Pick-up
DESCRIPTION:During large item/bulk trash collection\, the service department will collect glass items (which need to be taped and wrapped)\, all fabric items—for example\, mattresses\, box springs\, couches\, and chairs (which MUST BE BUNDLED)\, brushes and carpet (bundled)\, old appliances\, paint\, and other bulk trash items. Nails need to be removed from all boards and carpets. \n*If items are not properly wrapped or bundled\, they will not be picked up. \nIt’s important to note that the City does NOT pick up certain items such as concrete\, rock\, dirt\, loose brush\, firewood\, tree stumps\, root balls\, or contractor-generated building materials. \nTo schedule a large item/bulk trash collection for another date (cost is $24) or for questions\, call (937) 859-8280 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday – Friday or email us at waterclerk@westcarrollton.org.

No need to call the city if you didn’t get your leaves out in time or a vehicle was in the way because crews make continuous loops throughout the city each week. As a reminder\, leaf piles should be free of large sticks and debris to prevent damage to the leaf vacuum truck.
