DESCRIPTION:*Large item or bulk trash collection outside of the complimentary pickup dates (listed below) is available for a fee of $26. To schedule a pickup or for any questions\, please contact us at (937) 859-8280 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.\, Monday through Friday\, or email us at waterclerk@westcarrollton.org.\n\n2026 Large Item/Bulk Pickup Dates: \nOn the residents’ regularly scheduled collection day. \n\nWeek of January 5-9\nWeek of May 4-8\nWeek of July 6-10\nWeek of October 5-9\n\n\nBulk Trash Collection Guidelines: \nItems not properly bundled or wrapped will not be picked up. \n\nGlass items: Must be taped and securely wrapped.\nFabric items (mattresses\, box springs\, couches\, chairs): Must be fully wrapped in plastic.\nBrush & carpet: Carpet must be rolled and securely bundled using rope\, string\, or duct tape. Brush must be tied into small bundles. Bundles may not exceed 3 feet in length\, 18 inches in diameter\, or 50 pounds.\nOld appliances: Accepted for collection.\nPaint: Accepted for collection if properly sealed.\nOther bulk household items: Accepted for collection.\nBoards and carpet: Nails must be removed.\n\n\nItems NOT collected by the City:\n\nConcrete\nRock\nDirt\nLoose brush\nFirewood\nTree stumps\nRoot balls\nContractor-generated building materials (e.g.\, construction debris).

DESCRIPTION:The annual curbside fall leaf collection program begins Monday\, Oct. 12th\, and continues through Dec. 4th. No need to call the city if you didn’t get your leaves out in time\, or if a vehicle was in the way\, because crews make continuous loops throughout the city each week. \nBefore you grab your rake and begin building the world’s tallest leaf pile\, here’s what you need to know:\n\nRight-of-way only: Place your leaves on the right-of-way (grass area between the curb and sidewalk) for pickup\, not in the street or blocking drains.\nNo branches: Leaves ONLY – no sticks\, branches\, or other debris.\nClear clogged drains: Help prevent flooding by clearing leaf-covered storm drains or report them to the City at (937) 859-8280.
