Mayor Jeff Sanner and members of the West Carrollton city staff and council joined representatives from Taco Bell restaurant for a ribbon cutting at the new store located at 801 E. Central Dr. on Thursday, June 28.
The new facility seats 50 people and also features an outside patio area. The store lobby is open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., with the drive through open until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 3 a.m. on the other days.
“This new location is much more convenient and easily accessible,” said Ashley Brown, general manager. She said the store is also trying to accommodate bicyclists from the Great Miami River recreation trail with the installation of new bike racks.
The store employs 32 people. “About half are employees from the previous location,” Brown said. The former Taco Bell location, located at 654 E. Dixie Dr., closed in late February.
The restaurant is operated by brothers Nick and John Kallergis of The Twins Group, a restaurant holding company consisting of numerous Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, and KFC franchises throughout the Midwest.
