Pre-season Wilson Pool passes can be purchased at a discounted rate until Friday, May 25.
Pre-season rates for residents are: $55 for youth (ages 4-17) and senior citizens (over age 55); $65 for adults; and $140 for a family, up to 4 members of the same household. Each additional family member, added to a family-pass, is $25. Anyone who lives or works in the city of West Carrollton or attends West Carrollton School District will receive the resident rate, with proof of residency or employment.
Pre-season, non-resident rates are: $75 for youth (ages 4-17) and senior citizens (over age 55); $85 for adults; and $185 for a family, up to 4 members of the same household. Each additional family member, added to the family-pass, is $35.
This year, anyone who purchases a family pass will also receive a guest pass with three free one-day admissions. “We thought this was a way to encourage our regular patrons to invite others to visit our pool,” said Christian Mattingly, parks and recreation director. “Maybe these guests will become season pass holders next year,” he said.
Pre-season rates end when the pool opens on May 26. Rates increase by $10.
This year, photo identification cards will be issued as Wilson Pool passes. Everyone who receives a pass will need to have a photo taken. Photos will be taken at the Civic Center on Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Photos will also be taken at the pool once open.
One-day admission rates are $3.50 for resident youth and seniors and $5 for non-residents. Adult one-day rates are $4.25 for residents and $5.75 for non-residents.
Special 10-day passes and after 5 p.m. rates are also available. See the parks and recreation section of the website for more information.
Three different sessions of morning and two evening swim lessons will be held beginning in mid-June . Participants can sign up once they have purchased pre-season passes.
Park shelter reservations also begin March 1 for West Carrollton residents. Non-residents can begin reserving shelters on April 1.
The city is currently accepting applications for seasonal admissions/concessions and lifeguard positions. Lifeguard applicants need to be Red Cross or YMCA certified. Applications are being accepted through Thursday, March 22. Interviews will be given March 26-30. Stop by the Civic Center, 300 E. Central Ave., from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday through Friday to pick up an application.
