The Property Maintenance Department's responsibility is to insure the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the enforcement of property maintenance code regulations and zoning ordinances.  The property maintenance regulations for the City of West Carrollton are contained in the 2003 International Property Maintenance Code. 

The Property Maintenance Code governs the maintenance of existing residential and nonresidential buildings and all property.  The Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for the administration and enforcement of the code.
