Bit & Bridle Water Main Replacement:
The City of West Carrollton Service Department is pleased to announce the approval of a water main and infrastructure improvement project in your area. The City received approval of a $125,859 Grant and a $125,859 Zero Interest Loan from the Ohio Public Works Commission which will partially fund the improvements. The remaining balance of the funding will come from the Citys Water Fund and Street Improvement Fund. The project will replace existing aged 6" water mains with new 8" ductile iron mains. New fire hydrants with improved fire flow capacity will be connected to the new mains. New service connections from the main to the curb stop will be installed and tied into your existing service lines near the property line. After all underground work is complete, the roadway will be milled and overlayed with asphalt. This work will be done at no charge to you. The anticipated project schedule is as follows:
* Field Surveying - Fall 2006
* Engineering and Design - Fall 2006 to Winter 2007
* Construction Bid Opening - Spring 2007
* Construction - Spring 2007 to Summer 2007
* Project Complete - Summer 2007
