Law Enforcement is an exciting and dynamic field to work in with many challenges along the way. The field takes dedication and compassion. As a general rule, the men and women in law enforcement have chosen this field, many at an early age. We are indeed fortunate to find these dedicated people to work in our City.

Law Enforcement is changing rapidly in practice and in theory. Change is inevitable, not only in life but also in work and this is very clear in law enforcement today. Police departments today must be more open and user friendly to the citizens. The West Carrollton Police Department is continually changing to meet the needs and expectations of our citizens. We are a more open and friendly department that is "Dedicated to Community Service" as our motto states. However, "community service" is a two edged sword, with the police department being one edge and our citizens being the other edge, both working together to keep our community safe and progressive.
