On behalf of the members of the West Carrollton Fire Department I would like to welcome you to our Web Page. We are a diverse organization of men and women dedicated to providing quality service to the community. We are considered to be a combination Fire Department, as our staff is comprised of members who are paid on call, part-time, and career personnel. Fire Department employees are crossed trained in fire fighting and emergency medical services to provide protection around the clock 365 days a year. This is no small task when you realize the majority of our personnel serve in the paid per call status and are considered volunteers. These people help the community during their time off from their regular jobs.

Please stop by either of our Fire Stations and ask for a tour of the facilities and apparatus. Both of our facilities are brand new in June 2001. As part of the City's Capital Improvement Plan we have a new Fire Station One, located at 125 West Central Ave. and Fire Station Two, located at 1700 South Alex Rd., which was expanded and totally renovated. We are very proud and excited to show how these buildings will help, better serve the public. Our vehicle fleet is continuing to be replaced over the last ten years and we have modern equipment to serve you in an emergency. Perhaps, you would be interested in joining the Fire Department?
